Marketing Strategist
Job Description
As a Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role offers a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will be provided with vendor support (i.e. design, SEO, …) and a marketing budget to bring campaigns to life, but you should also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed. The successful candidate will align marketing initiatives with business objectives to ensure measurable success.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy for the organization.
- Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, event, PR, and partner channels.
- Manage relationships with marketing vendors, freelancers, and agencies.
- Oversee content development including blogs, social media content, whitepapers, case studies and press releases.
- Plan and oversee the creation of video content—including product demos, customer stories, and event highlights—to support marketing campaigns across digital channels.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with Sales and Executive leadership on branding, positioning, and customer acquisition strategies to align marketing initiatives with growth targets.
- Lead Revive’s tradeshow, sponsorship, and webinar initiatives.
- Refine brand messaging, especially for the Engineering and Construction markets.
- Monitor and report on key marketing metrics such as lead generation, campaign ROI, and website performance.
Prerequisites
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3+ years leading marketing initiatives.
- Experience marketing for an ERP VAR, ERP consulting firm, or comparable B2B technology environment is required.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, video content creation, event planning, PR and partner/channel marketing.
- Proven ability to manage and execute marketing plans with external vendors within a set budget.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP solutions such as Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or other ERP systems of similar size and functionality.
- Experience marketing to Engineering and Construction industries is highly desirable.
