Job Description

As a Human Resources (HR) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices & processes. This role supports business operations by managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, training, & organizational development. The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to leadership while fostering a positive & productive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts & disciplinary matters professionally/confidentially.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
  • Support leadership in promoting company culture and core values.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs & workforce planning strategies.
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding programs.

Performance Management

  • Administer performance review processes and employee development programs.
  • Coach managers on employee performance, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Manage HR records and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee workplace investigations and maintain confidentiality.

HR Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to leadership.
  • Recommend process improvements and HR best practices.
  • Manage HR systems and employee data accuracy.

Prerequisites

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruiting, and compliance management.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or growing organizations.
